Jordan. Week 1 Volleyball

Once we went to Volleyball on a windy monday with Mrs Bracey, friends and coach Elondor outside on the court's holding the squishy bouncy Volleyballs in our hands getting ready to serve the ball to the other person on the other side. When we were serving the ball to the other person on the other side it kept on going over the fence because the wind was blowing the soft light volleyball over the fence that's why Mrs Bracey kept on getting the volleyballs over the fence.

Jordan First panmure bridge

First Panmure Bridge.

Once we went to the yacht club to view the site of the first Panmure Bridge at Tamaki river. The first Panmure bridge was the first swing Bridge that got built in Panmure but then people were going over the swing bridge to go to Pakuranga to get vegetables fruits and kumara. The swing Bridge is one of those Bridges that open sideways or up and down for the boats to go through. The first bridge got collapsed because It couldn't carry that much cars on the swing Bridge.

Hemi was the first one to travel to the Panmure swing Bridge to go to Pakuranga to grow plants and fruits to go back to australia to make more money.

The next bridge.

2 weeks ago in america there was a footbridge that collapsed pass the cars on a 8 lane highway. The Bridge was built 6 hours ago in america on top of the 8 lane highway then the people in the cars got crushed more people than 10 died but some of the people survived out of the emergency before that the Bridge collapsed on the cars at the bottom of the 2nd Bridge.

Hi my name is Jordan I am Maori and I am a Year 5 my school is called Tamaki Primary School. I live with my Auntie, Cousins, Sister and my Dad.


I am good at fractions.

I enjoy doing my work and playing with the class.

My challenge is to win the sumdog challenge.

My goals is to listen and come to school for whanau conference.

I am looking forward to listening to other people's ideas and listening to the teacher.

I am inspired by nature because nature has all the colours.

I connected with other people by sharing ideas with other people.

Trees for survival.

                 

            Trees for survival.

Did you no on NZ we have 23%8 we need to have 40% of grassland. Every time you sit under a tree shade you get fresh air under the tree shade that’s outside. Trees and land plants produce about 30% of the oxygen on earth, the rest  (70%) is produced by plants in the ocean (which are being impacted by polluted water.

Tree shades are important for us because If we don’t have tree shades it will kill a life. If we do plant If will plant a life. Whenever large parts of a forest tree are cut down, animals lose their houses and everything about the place where the trees grew changes.

Dear Santa.

Thank you for giving me my presents Last week and thank you for giving me a skateboard and a lunch box for my present that’s when I wrote the other Santa letter last week on monday. When I got my present I felt shocked and impressed when I sat down and opened my presents.
